The Worth Work Seminar
About the event
The 'Pandemic Wall' feels impenetrable for many us. I hear it from others every day. Admittedly, I feel it too. And all the 'how to's, life-hacks and inspirations can begin blending into a sort of mind mush that leave us susceptible to despair.
Recently, while sitting in silence, I heard,
"Your worth interfaces with everything. Everything appearing out of the formless is a mirror to the innermost belief you carry about yourself."
I believe if you read that a couple of times, you'll discover a basic spiritual familiarity to it. Everything I label as good is a reflection of the degree of good I feel about myself and everything I label as bad is a reflection of the degree of bad I feel about myself. Basic spiritual law 101. Yet, somehow what struck me was a bottom line truth that seemed to say, "you can life-hack and how-to all you want but nothing will really elevate in your life until you elevate your self-criticisms to self-acknowledgments, your body shaming to body nurturing, and your tired inabilities of receiving to a welcoming back of your vulnerable and tender accepting spirit." It doesn't mean our binding neuroses just up and leave but it does mean we start shifting from shame and despair to a curious willingness to reopen to our wholeness. What becomes clear is that our worth just is. Nothing to earn or prove. This Worth Work feels exciting and important and together with my friend Jai-Ram Lentine we'd like to invite you to a free two hour workshop where we'll discuss and explore ways to more readily accept and honor our inherent worth.
